The simpliest questions are often the most disturbing, and therefore the most difficult to answer. Ignacio Agüero experiments with this sense of confusion as he documents the shooting of several films created between 1984 and 1985, at a time when cinema – as with many other things in Chile – seemed on the brink of disappearing. The diretor always present as himself on screen, asks: “Why are you making this film? Who will see it? What is your relationship with your characters?”.
