What guy wouldn't want to stretch the tape measure around his guns another inch or two? And even if you are a gal I'm sure you'd like to add some shapely muscle tone to your arms as well.
Well in this video myself and my better half Trish demonstrate a couple killer exercises that will isolate and target your biceps and triceps from a unique angle.
When you typically do a bicep exercise your upper arms are down by your sides, right? Just think of doing barbell curls, dumbbell curls, low pulley cable curls, etc. your arms are pretty much in the same position for all of these exercises.
So if you want to change things up you need to change the angle at which you work your biceps. That's why in this video we cover the over head cable curl. Instead of having your arms by your sides and elbows pointing downwards. Your arms are over head and elbows pointing towards the ceiling. Just this change in position will activate the biceps from a unique position and help spur on new muscle growth.
The same thing applies for the triceps. Generally your arms are by your sides, or just out in front, when you do push downs, tricep extensions, close grip bench, etc. But in this video we cover over head cable extensions. This movement will fully stretch out the triceps in the bottom and then provide a peak contraction at the very top. Thus helping to stimulate maximum muscle growth in the triceps.
